Chain 10
Skip 1 st, sc, hdc, dc, dc, tr, dc, dc, hdc, (sc, ch1, sc) in the last st, working on the opposite side of the chain make hdc, dc, dc, tr, dc, dc, hdc, sc, sl st into the first st
This completes our first leaf, we will make the second leaf next.

Chain1 + Chain 11 ( Total 11 ch sts)

Skip 1 st, sc, hdc, dc, dc, tr, dc, dc, hdc, (sc, ch1, sc) in the last st, working on the opposite side of the chain make hdc, dc, dc, tr, dc, dc, hdc, sc, sl st into the first sc of the leaf.
This completes the second leaf. Now we will make the spine of the leaf.

Chain1, make surface sl st through the centre of the leaf till you reach the end of one leaf.
Sc in the centre Chain 1 stitch

Chain 40 (You can increase or decrease the number of ch sts)
Skip 14 sts, sl st on the remaining stitches
Sl st in the centre st, make surface sl st through the centre of the next leaf

Cut the yarn and fasten off. Weave in all loose ends, and your cute little leaf sprout is ready.
